With each passing year, Christmas brings us an opportunity to connect with one another. We gather at parties, we spend time with family, we run into friends while shopping for that perfect gift. But how many times do we opt for the easy route of superficial conversation, instead of actually connecting with those around us? In the same way, many people use the Christmas season as a time to acknowledge God and give him token appreciation, but it's little more than a passing glance. What God really wants is to connect with us. Sometimes we miss the chance to connect with God, our families, or even strangers. But the Christmas season is a reflection of God's longing for us, when Jesus came to us in human form to become the Ultimate Connection to the Father. In this series, we'll look at Christmas in a different light, and discover the hope that comes with repairing those missed connections.
